Verse for Ipad login problem

  • Category: Notes Traveler

I have just installed Verse for iPad and I want to connect to my company mail server.

When I fill in the initial information and click log in, I get an error about invalid certificate and can't access.

Our Domino server is at the latest version, with TLS.12 enabled.

Solved (unfortunately)

Is a known limitation.

I found this in the Knowledge center https://www-304.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYRPW_9.0.1/iOSVerseNeedtoKNow.html

IBM Traveler servers must support SSL/TLS and have a valid certificate. For security reasons, the app will not connect to a server with a self-signed, expired or otherwise untrusted certificate, nor will it connect to a server configured for HTTP rather than HTTPS.

This is bad news for me and many of my customers.

SOLVED SUCCESSFULLY :-)

I had to import the self-signed certificate from my server to my device. Now it works like a charm
